We had so much fun farm animal activities that they slashed over into our Apple week this week! The kiddos did amazing with their baby animal size sequencing. Big and little is a huge concept for us at this age. We also did a really fun animal matching activity to help us work on drawing lines by connecting our animals that matched. We have added a new element to circle time that the kiddos really love! After we read our book each day, we take a minute and talk about who the characters are, where they are, what is going wrong and how did they fix it! We have a fun chart that we love to fill with our answers. Sadly for some, we had to set our butterfly free this week. Our friends really wanted to keep him forever! He flew high into the trees and we all got to wave goodbye.
This week we are working on everything APPLES! We have already done some really fun activities and I can’t wait to update you all on Friday with the awesome things we have learned!
****A few reminders!! We have school pictures on September 26-27, you will receive a link that allows you to order AFTER picture day, so all you have to do is pick a cute outfit and come to school! We will also be having a Curriculum Night, this is a fun time for your kiddos to show you around the room and all the things they love now that they feel at home. It is open house style so come and go as you wish! It is on SEPTEMBER 25!
We will also be having a collection for CCLS Uganda from September 17-20 so that our mission team can deliver the goods in October. This trip we are collecting toothbrushes, toothpaste and floss!
