Turkey Day

Hello families! I am so excited to say that Ms. Emily had her last operation on Wednesday and we are finally getting back to normal! We are both so appreciative of your understanding as we went through these sticky few weeks. Over the past few weeks we finished up pumpkins and made the transition to Thanksgiving and turkeys. We said goodbye to our friends Oliver Orange and Sammy Square and we got to meet Yolanda Yellow and Robbie Rectangle. We also did a dice and graphing activity based on Thanksgiving dinner vegetables. Students rolled the die, counted the dots and found the matching number on the graph. We then recorded it and counted to see which vegetable was the winner. We have completed our Thanksgiving turkey interview, it is hanging in the hall outside our room. You should check them out, your kiddos have some big personalities. We are also in the process of doing a handprint turkey and a thankfulness turkey.

Please check under the “important info” tab! I  have updated the lunch menu and put all the information you need for Operation Christmas Child. You should have all received the pamphlet. If not, check your folders by the cubbies.

Just a sidenote about Brightwheel, the school is looking into purchasing the full program, until that happens, I am not able to respond to your messages. Please do not think that I am ignoring anyone! You can continue to send notes and messages, if you need a response, I will be sending an answer in a text or email.
